Rested.
After we (and by we, I mean I) lost the stuffed animal Frog that made the rounds among the classes, Teacher Kathy used the loss as a teaching moment. Problem Solving.
She had the kids brainstorm ideas and decide what action to take - replace the frog with another frog, replace him with another animal, or keep looking.
With 5 or 6 days worth of discussions and votes, the kids chose to replace the frog with another frog.
This, is the new and improved froggy of the pre-kindergarten class. Sarah brought him home from school last night and we didn't want a repeat performance, so we left him at home as we trekked around all over town for playdates and gymnastics.
Sarah wanted to make him very comfortable for his stay. She pulled out the handmade doll crib my great-uncle Ted made for me 35 years ago out of the closet {Sarah is just not into dolls}. She made the bed and tucked Froggy in.
This morning, we awoke to a well-rested frog.
