Undersea.

So today we had to leave the cozy house in Port Ludlow.

We decided to take the scenic route home.  We drove down to Bremerton to take the ferry.

Along the way, we found a little gem - the US Navy Undersea Museum.

FYI, it isn't underwater.

It's in a giant government-looking building.  You know the kind - built in the 60s, white pebbled exterior with tall arches and black glass windows.

Inside are exhibits showing what life is like for soldiers aboard submarines, interactive science kiosks, a submarine interior, examples of diving bells and suits through the years, missiles and a very cool play area for kids with uniforms and ship-style furnishings.

Added perk?  It, like all national museums, is free.
