Snow

I love this tree.  It's probably my favorite feature in our yard.

Our Ponderosa Pine has always had a nod to the left.  Our own leaning tower of a pine. 

We've never worried about it coming down.  The freeze, along with six inches of snow gave us pause.

One large branch snapped off, popping a fence panel out of the neighbors fence.  The damage to the branch stub means the tree will have to come down over the summer. 

It will be a sad day when our tree with it's long, deep-green needles is gone.

For now, we'll enjoy it covered in snow.
